Make Learning Come Alive
We’re privileged to live and work in one of the most beautiful, spiritual and creative corners of the British Isles, where a tradition of pilgrimage and contemplation mixes gently with natural beauty. Businesses in St Davids evolve like species in the Galapagos – similar yet wonderfully different; our teachers are artists, business leaders, healers, academics, writers, and hundreds of visitors - our own clients at play.
Different? Our customers think so. A few of the reasons, all of them disarmingly simple, that we stand out from the crowd are: - We teach people to think, rather than to know
- Pembroke tell it as it is – simple, powerful messages
- Our integrated approaches make learning come alive
- Pembroke tutors do it as well as teach it
- We’re expert at using experiential learning
- TYF Eco Hotel is a unique learning venue
- Our courses and programmes make long term impacts
- Pembroke's energy and enthusiasm makes change fun
A few of the credentials, different or not, that we think important are: One Percent for the Planet is an alliance of companies that recognize the true cost of doing business and donate 1% of their sales to environmental organizations worldwide. Through their corporate giving, grants and philanthropy, they encourage responsible business and corporate responsibility. One Percent for the Planet’s environmental alliance is designed to help their members become sustainable businesses and their environmental group database aids their membership to make choices with their corporate grants to environmental organizations. The CarbonNeutral Company is the leading organisation in providing carbon strategy, management and project services. For nearly a decade, they have been helping businesses to understand the risks and opportunities presented by carbon management. The aim is to make St Davids the first carbon neutral city in the world and to demonstrate how we can all help reduce the environmental damage caused by global warming. Examples of renewable energy technology and biodiversity can be seen on the eco trail around the city.
